(“we,” “us” or the “Company”) maintains this Privacy Statement (this “Privacy Statement”) which applies to “personal data” requested or collected, processed and/or disclosed in connection with your prospective or relationship with us as a potential employee or an independent contractor.
It is common practice and often a necessity for companies or other organizations to collect personal data in order to assess your potential as a prospective employee or an independent contractor of the company.
For the purposes of this Privacy Statement, “personal data” means identifiable information that we request or obtain from you or another third party on your behalf in connection with your potential, current, or past employment/engagement with the Company that can identify you. Personal data does not include any data that is anonymized or any data that cannot identify you in any way.
We are committed to protecting your privacy therefore, this website was created to provide for the secure submission and receipt of all documents which contain personal data. This Privacy Statement describes the Company’s practices with respect to such documents that contain personal data in which we may request, collect, what we use it for and who we share it with or disclose it to.
What information do we collect about you and what do we use it for?

Special categories of personal data
There are more limited bases for processing special categories of personal data. This is personal data which reveals or contains:
- racial or ethnic origin;
- political opinions;
- religious and philosophical beliefs;
- trade union membership;
- genetic data;
- biometric data;
- health data; or
- sex life or sexual orientation.
We will only process special categories of personal data when we have a lawful basis for doing so and primarily because it is necessary:
- for the purposes of carrying out our obligations and exercising specific rights in the field of employment and/or social security law (employment law obligations); and/or
- for the assessment of your working capacity.
However, we may also process special categories of personal data because (i) it is necessary in relation to legal claims or (ii) it is necessary to protect your vital interests or those of another person where you are physically or legally incapable of giving consent; or (iii) you have already manifestly made this information public; or, in limited circumstances, (iv) you have given explicit consent.

The Human Resources (“HR”) Department shall only share or disclose your personal data with the individuals or entities who assist in fulfilling a respective HR function or responsibilities within your prospective or proposed employment/engagement relationship with the Company, or when required to do so by applicable law (individually and collectively, "Third-Party Service Providers").
Third-Party Service Providers may include, but are not limited to:
- Head-hunters and recruitment consultants;
- The website in which a prospect may have submitted their employment application (if applicable);
- Security personnel companies;
- Payroll information and pay stub viewing applications and companies;
- Benefits providers (e.g. health/dental insurance, life assurance, pension);
- Accountants & auditors;
- IT support/processing systems;
- Legal advisors; and/or
- Government agencies
In general, your personal data will not be shared other than as described herein without our explicit consent. Any Third-Party Service Provide that is utilized will only have access to your personal data on an “if needed” basis as a part of their partnership with us and only if the Third Party Service Provider agrees to ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data.
Retention/Destruction of Personal Information/Data
There is a legal premise that personal data should not be retained for longer than necessary. Your personal data will only be retained for as long as necessary to administer your prospects with us and/or your employment/engagement relationship and services for which it was collected and for a reasonable time thereafter, or to meet any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements.
Unless retention of personal data is strictly specified by law for certain time periods we will retain the majority of the categories of personal data or Sensitive Personal Information/Data set out above for a reasonable period of time, generally seven (7) years, unless we are required to keep any information for a longer period for legal or regulatory reasons.
In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.
Once we no longer require your personal data for the purposes it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements, we will destroy the personal data securely in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and in accordance with the Company’s Data Retention and Destruction Policy.
